Diversitas 2022 Award

The University of Vienna has been awarded one of this year's Diversitas main prizes by the Ministry of Science with its focus on "Multiply Diversity! Multiply Diversity!".

The research platform GAIN - Gender: Ambivalent In_Visibilities (GAIN) is one of these 5 projects and therefore contributed significantly to the award of the overall strategy.

In addition to GAIN, the following initiatives also received awards:

Faculty of Historical and Cultural Sciences: Policy Gender Justice
Faculty of Life Sciences: Women in Biology Scientists Network
Centre for Teaching and Learning: Qualification of student multipliers, offers for scientific work and peer learning
Children's Office of the University of Vienna: UniClub - Learning Space

The Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research awarded the Diversitas Diversity Management Prize for the fourth time on 12 December 2022.
The prize is intended to sustainably promote the sensitisation and sharpening of social and organisational awareness for a gender and diversity-oriented equality policy and organisational development at Austrian higher education and research institutions.
