Miriam Fiala acts as the organisational assistant to the research platform GAIN. In addition to her contributions to GAIN, she has been working at the department of English and American Studies since 2021, where she is a language lab tutor for British English. In 2024, she presented research on accent perception and production and accent acquisition at the conferences EPIP8 and spraWIEN. Moreover, she is a master's student of Anglophone Literatures and Cultures as well as Austrian Studies at the University of Vienna. She has completed her bachelor's in English and American Studies at the University of Vienna in 2021.
